01What does Xelara Networks provide?+
Private virtual machines, container environments, dedicated systems, controlled networking, object storage, backup architecture, and managed infrastructure. The combination is shaped around your workload rather than selected from an automatic checkout.
02Can I use virtual machines, containers, or dedicated hardware?+
Yes. These are different deployment approaches, and the right choice depends on application support, isolation needs, resource requirements, and operational ownership. The solutions comparison explains the tradeoffs.
03Can the environment stay private?+
Private access can be part of the design. We review users, site-to-site links, VPNs, administrative paths, and any services that need controlled public access. Exact connectivity is confirmed during architecture planning.
04Can you help migrate existing systems?+
Migration planning covers discovery, dependencies, target design, pilot validation, cutover, rollback criteria, and handover. Compatibility and the method are reviewed for the systems involved.
05Will a migration require downtime?+
That depends on the workload, data synchronization options, application support, and the selected method. Expected disruption, validation, and rollback decisions belong in the migration plan before a change window is agreed.
06Are backups the same thing as high availability?+
No. High availability addresses some service interruptions through redundancy. Backups and recovery planning address returning to usable data and systems after loss or disruption. Many environments need both, scoped to their business requirements.
07What managed support is available?+
Monitoring, maintenance, configuration ownership, documentation, and change planning can form part of a managed or co-managed engagement. Coverage hours, support channels, response objectives, and escalation are agreed in the service scope.
08Can Xelara work alongside my IT team or MSP?+
Yes. A co-managed arrangement can keep your existing team or MSP involved while defining the infrastructure layers Xelara is responsible for. Administrative access, handover, and escalation boundaries are agreed together.
09How is pricing determined?+
A proposal considers compute and memory, storage and retention, connectivity, licensing, migration effort, resilience, and management scope. Share a workload inventory or build a project brief to establish the inputs for a meaningful quote.
10How are availability commitments defined?+
Availability commitments, recovery objectives, support coverage, and response expectations are established for the selected architecture and management scope. They are documented in the service agreement.
11What should I prepare for an initial discussion?+
A system inventory, application owners, resource baselines, important connections, recovery requirements, and a preferred timeframe. The resource library includes downloadable worksheets, and the planner can prepare a local project brief.
12Does the project planner submit a request?+
No. It prepares a brief in your browser and lets you download a text file. Review and share it through an agreed communication channel. It does not reserve infrastructure or automatically produce a quote.
13Is encryption at rest available?+
Yes. Encryption at rest is an infrastructure capability. The deployment review identifies protected storage, recovery-copy coverage, and key-management responsibilities. Application and customer-side controls remain part of the wider design.
14How do you approach healthcare and regulated workloads?+
Start with the information involved, the exact requirements, the service boundary, and the roles of each party. Review safeguards, relevant business-associate agreements, and applicable assessment evidence through the trust-center process.
15Where do existing customers get support?+
Use the support and escalation details supplied with your engagement. The support and operations page explains the information to prepare, incident classification, maintenance coordination, and how service responsibilities are established.
